Donate/Membership

The Smithfield Community Association operates entirely on donations and monies from fundraisers like the Civil War Weekend. We have no paid employees, all our administrative work is done by volunteers. The restoration projects are often supported by local, state, or federal grants, but these are almost always “matching” grants, which means the grant will pay for only 50% of the project costs, with the other half covered by money we raise through donation or volunteered in-kind service.

Please consider joining the SCA and supporting the preservation of Peterboro’s history by making a donation. Membership in the SCA is included for a minimum annual donation of $10 or more. Please consider an additional “focus” contribution to one of the GSENHL squads. If you would like a donation to be directed toward a specific project, just note it on the form.
